Bertha Gonzalez

A rosary is scheduled for 6 pm, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Bertha Gonzalez, 80, who passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 surrounded by her loved ones. A funeral mass is scheduled for 2 pm, Thursday, February 19, 2015 at St. John's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Bertha may be viewed from 8:00 am till 6:00 pm, Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Bertha was born March 28, 1934 in Colonia El Pueblito, Chihuahua, Mexico to Faustino Sotelo and Alejandra Olivas who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her husband Dolores Gonzalez (Lolo); brothers and sisters Justino, Miguel, Elauteria , Leonarda, Isidra and Angelica Sotelo; grandchildren Jocelyn Guadalupe Lemus and Isack Gonzalez.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Edwiges Gonzalez, Gerardo Gonzalez and wife Martha, Martha Gonzalez and husband Roberto Gallardo and Maria Ibarra and husband Jesus; brothers and sister, Francisco, Sabino, Camilo, Alvaro and Blasa Sotelo; grandchildren Martha Morales and husband Luis, Edith Lemus-Hernandez and husband Carlos, Abigail Gonzalez, Gerardo II Gonzalez, Gerardo III Gonzalez, Jahziel Gonzalez, Jennifer Gonzalez, Anabel Alvarado, Diana Gonzalez, José Ibarra, Bianca Avitia, Jasmin Ibarra, Beatriz Ibarra and Josue Ibarra; twenty-six great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Also surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Roberto Gallardo, Jesus Ibarra, Luis Morales, Carlos Hernandez, José Ibarra and Josue Ibarra.
