Wilma passed away peacefully on June 8, 2013. She was 95 years old.
She lived in El Paso, Texas most of her life and moved to Roswell in 2002. She lived at Peachtree where she made many good friends and enjoyed Bingo and playing cards with them daily. In February of 2013, Wilma moved to Bee Hive, made new friends, and enjoyed how the staff spoiled her. Her husband, George R. Nail, preceded Wilma in death. She is survived by her children, George R. Nail and wife Joanna of Albuquerque, Maribet Uravitch and husband Richard of Grant, FL, Carol Nail of Roswell, and adopted daughters Kathy Jorgensen of Roswell and Karen Johnson of Arlington, WA. She was blessed with two grandsons, Cliff and wife Trish and Chris and wife Dina, both of Albuquerque, and three great grandchildren, Ryan, Beth, and Nathan.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun is set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free
Miss me a little, but not for long,
And not with your head bowed low,
Remember then what we have shared,
Miss mebut let me go.
For this is a journey we all must take
And each must go alone.
Its all part of the Masters plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick at heart,
Go to the hills we know
And bury your sorrow among the trees
Miss mebut let me go.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the entire Bee Hive staff and to the Gentiva Hospice staff for their loving care and compassion shown to Wilma.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Ballard Funeral Home and Crematory.
