Graveside services for burial of ashes are scheduled for 1 pm Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Memory Lawn Memorial Park for William Bill L. Goodall, 83, who passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Pastor Herb Gage of Vista Care will be officiating. A gathering of the family and friends will be held at 6 pm, Friday, April 19, 2013 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Bill was born February 14, 1930 in Evansville, Indiana to Herman and Gladys J. Brooks Goodall. His parents preceded him in death. He married Peggie L. Dunn on June 30, 1949, who preceded him in death on December 8, 2009. Bill is also preceded in death by his brothers Leroy Goodall, James Goodall and Carl Goodall and his sisters Tommy Lou Ashby and Ann Scott.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son William R. Goodall and wife Wilma of Roswell daughter Penney L. Cardona and husband Sam of Roswell brother Donald Goodall of Tucumcari, NM sisters Sue Penrod of Beechmond, KY and Nell Stafford of Dayton, OH grandchildren Kris Cardona, Libby Bennett, Bradley Byron, John Whitt, Ruthie Whitt, Teresa Smith 15 great grandchildren and 10 greatgreat grandchildren. Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews and his special friend Bobby Henson of Hagerman, NM.

Bill was a resident of Roswell since 1959. He and his wife Peggie loved to spend many hours fishing together.


Finally Home
Although your work on earth is done,
Your life in Heaven has just begun.
Your struggles here were hard and long.
But theyre over now, youre finally Home.

Life wasnt easy by choice or fate,
A decision made, sometimes too late.
A fight to the finish, always strong,
