William J. Adams Jr.

William J. Adams Jr., passed peacefully in his home on Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was born in Roswell, New Mexico, to William J. Adams Sr., and Shirley F. Whitten on January 27, 1949. 

William worked for US Foods in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as Sysco for several years in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He specialized as a Sales Manager in the food industry and took much pride in his work. He was very passionate about the restaurant business, and anything related to food and cooking.

William was preceded in death by his parents, William and Shirley Adams, and his beloved daughter, Amanda Lee Adams. 

He is survived by his loving spouse, Karen K. Kelly Adams, as well as 3 loving children, William C. (Bill) Adams, James S. Adams, and James (Jim) Marshall. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Shirleen Forbar (Alden), Lynn Prescott, and Elaine Wienski, among many loved grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Ballard Funeral Home. A burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 31, 2024 South Park Cemetery for William in Roswell, New Mexico.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
