A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at South Park Cemetery for Wanda Bridgford, 76, formerly of Roswell who passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, Texas. Pastor Richard Smith of Highland Baptist Church will officiate.

Wanda was born on March 26, 1931 in Roswell, New Mexico to Wayne Mabry and Flera Scott. Her parents have preceded her in death.

Wanda was a member of the Beta Sigma PHI, and the Eastern Star. She loved to do gardening, travel and just being with family and friends.

Wanda is survived by her husband; David T. Bridgford of Maryneal, Texas; children; Sue Hanson McBride of Roswell, New Mexico, Julie Scott McBride husband Dale Butts of Giddings, Texas, Douglas L. McBride III of Roswell, New Mexico, stepchildren; Derek Bridgford and wife Jamie of Oklahoma, and Dershie Kurtz and husband Stephen of Texas; grandchildren Erica Irene McBride, Demi McBride both of Roswell, New Mexico, Evan Roach of Albuquerque, New Mexico and step-grandchildren; Karson, Kade, Garrett and Rylie.
