Virginia Wingfield

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Virginia Elizabeth Wingfield, 86 of Roswell who passed away April 3, 2010 at a local hospital.
Liz was born on December 6, 1923 in Roswell, NM to Thomas Jordan Jackson and Anna Mae Williams. Her parents have preceded her in death as well as her husband William Bill Rolla Wingfield who past in 1989. Also preceded her are two stepsons.
Liz is survived by her stepson: John Rolla Wingfield of Terrell, Texas and her daughters: Mary Jo Ingram and Virginia Lynn Moore of Roswell, NM as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and one great, greatgrandson.
Liz was life long resident of Roswell, NM, and was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church and American Legion Auxiliary. Liz was retired from Gulf Oil Company, also Liz and Bill were previous owners of Wingfield Antique Store of Roswell.
