Virginia Marie Lucero Richardson

Virginia "Virgie" passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, she was 75. She was a lifelong resident of Roswell and the second daughter of Sam and Celia B. Lucero. She was a loving wife and mother of 5 boys; Gilbert, Jerry, Richard (Gary), Gabriel and Granville (GL)

Virgie was born on September 20, 1940. She married Gilbert Richardson on July 28, 1965 and recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Her life was her family, she never forgot a birthday nor special events.

Virgie is survived by her husband, Gilbert; all 5 boys; her siblings, Josie, Allene, Dinah and Raul; eleven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Virgie is preceded in death by her parents and brother Sam Lucero III and Jerry Lucero.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please donate to your favorite charity in her name.

Services will be held at 9:30 AM, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1413 S. Union.
