Virginia Bartlett

A rosary is scheduled for 7 P.M., Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Johns Catholic Church for Virginia Bartlett, 85, who passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in Roswell, Martha Romero will be officiating.

Virginia was born May 21, 1928 in Roswell, NM to Abel Romero and Caroline Gameroz. She is preceded in death by her parents and step father Ramon Lopez, her husband William Bartlett, Sr., brothers Robert Romero and Mike Romero and nephew Robert Solis.

Virginia is survived by her daughter Sarah Villarreal and her husband Juan son William Bartlett, Jr. and his wife Tina her sister Roberta Solis and her husband Ramon her grandchildren Virginia Villarreal and her husband Oscar Gonzalez, John Villarreal, Valerie Villarreal, William Bartlett, Wesley Bartlett and Wyatt Bartlett, one great grandchild Robert Gonzalez. Also surviving her are her niece and nephews, Ray Romero, Rudy Romero, Regina Romero and Roy Romero and her partner Abel Valadez.

Virginia was a lifelong resident of Roswell and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church. She was also known as the Casino Queen as she loved gambling and playing a hand of Poker.
