Vickie Sanchez

A rosary is scheduled for 11 am, Friday, July 15, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 11:30 am for Vickie R. Sanchez, 88, who passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2016 in Roswell, NM. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Vickie was born March 23, 1928 in Roswell, NM to Mariano Flores and Ventura Ramirez Flores who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband Eliver Sanchez; daughters Stella Flores and Bertha Flores; brothers Andres Flores Mariano Flores, Julio Flores and Joe Florez; sisters Sophie Montoya, Lupe Franco, Delfina Flores and Mary Pineda and granddaughter Denise Flores.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons David Flores and wife Silvia, Raymond Franco and Sammy Flores; brother Roy Flores; sister Velia Aguilar and husband Nick Aguilar and Lala Reyes and Olmedo Ledesma; grandchildren Andrea Ybarra and Alexzander Franco; great grandchildren David M. Flores, George Munoz and Denise Ybarra; in-laws Nena Lucero and husband JR, Leroy Sanchez, Elvira Lucero and husband Sammy, Efrem Sanchez and wife Cecilia, Josefina Sanchez and Sara Sanchez.

Serving as pallbearers are Ralph Flores, Mariano Florez, Rosco Flores, Nick Aguilar, Alexander Franco and Felix Padilla. Honorary pallbearers are Martha Sandoval and Nicky Aguilar.
