Troy Green

February 17, 1973 — January 31, 2013

Troy Alexander Green was a decorated Air Force Veteran, and beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Son and Grandfather. His life consisted of 39 years that was full and loving and went to be with our Lord on January 31, 2013. Troy was born on February 17, 1973 in Jacksonville, FL. to Albert Ralph Green Jr. and Marilyn Lynn Keith. He leaves behind his oldest daughter Acqtai, youngest daughter Katie, his wife Sandra and his only grandson Ender.

He moved to Roswell, N.M. at the age of 6 when his father fulfilled his commitment in the Navy. He left Roswell to join the Air Force in 1992 and in that same year married Veronica Hernandez, whom he met while attending Hagerman High School, and celebrated the birth of their daughter Acqtai Green. His marriage to Veronica sadly lasted for a short time but they remained friends. Troy served our country at Edwards Air Force base, CA. Japan Hurlburt Field Air Force base, FL. and a tour of duty in Afghanistan for just over ten years. He spent his entire Air Force career in the Civil Engineering career field dealing mainly with Water Treatment and plumbing duties under the Air Force Material Command, Pacific Command, Air Force Special Operations Command and U.S. Central Command. He completed his service as a Senior Airman in the Air Force in December, 2002.

Upon his separation from the military, Troy embarked on a new journey to become a skilled Information Technician while working for the government as a Water Treatment specialist in the city of San Antonio, TX. Pursuing the goal of becoming a highly skilled Information Technician was going to be challenging for Troy with him not having the backgroundtraining for it but that never deterred him, when he set a goal he always accomplish it. Utilizing all the benefits that he earned while serving his country he enrolled in school into the Information Technology major and obtained his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in that field, all of this while working a full time job. While in San Antonio, Troy met Sandra Rexroat and they soon were wed. Soon after that marriage Troy was blessed with his second daughter, Katie, in January of 2007. He was always loyal and patriotic to his country, evident by his active duty military service and his continued government service. He was a member of Community Bible Church and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Troy was a jack of all trades with such skills as door to door salesman, party clownballoon animal expert, businessman and athlete. His competitive drive was not without an air of humor for those fortunate enough to engage in competition with him and he will be missed by many.

Troy is survived by his wife of 8 years, Sandra two children, Acqtai and Katie one grandchild, Ender his brother Allen Green and his wife Elisabeth his father Ralph Green and his wife Rummy his mother Marilyn Montano and her husband Jimmy his two nephews Luke Green and Jonathan Rexroat his niece Lisa Green and numerous cousins.
