Tom Tyler

Tom was born on August 01, 1954 in Hobbs, NM. He passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

Tom loved his family and friends and was an outdoorsman. There was not a deer in the woods that could get away from him or a fish in the water that could swim away.

"That man was my father and I wouldn't have it any other way." His children reflect, "Every morning I wake up to a blue sky-- knowing you're up there. I will always have a blue sky. That's why we called you blue!"

"There is no other like my brother!" - Tom's siblings.

Tom was preceded in death by his father Tom H. Tyler; mother Elnoria Brandon; brother Richard Tyler; and son Christian Tyler.

He is survived by his sister Linda Henington of Roswell, NM; brother Jerry Tyler of Roswell, NM; daughters Shannon Tyler of Roswell, NM, Kymbra McLaughlin and Adam of Interlaken, NY, and Rachel Jones and Brandon of Saucier, MS; sons Don Kuehn and Savanna of Capitan, NM, and Daniel Kuehn and Kim of Capitan, NM; 22 grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Don Kuehn, Ray Stubblefield, Jonathan Seward, Gayle Martindale and Eddie Chapin. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Kuehn and CJ Tyler.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 23, 2018 at 10:00am at Roswell Baptist Church with burial to follow at the Hagerman City Cemetery. Pastor David Walden will be officiating.
