Susan Fugate

A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Susan Fugate 59, who passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Pastor Troy Grant of Berrendo Baptist Church will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Susan was born December 18, 1951 in Roswell, NM to Charles and Sue Irene Nichols. Her parents preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving husband Billy Dale Fugate of Roswell sons Steven Johnson of Roswell, NM and Michael Fugate and wife Tammy of Beaumont, CA and her grandchildren Cody Johnson, Brooke Johnson, Kaylee, Grace, London Fugate and Jeremy Palmer.

Susan was a lifelong resident of Roswell. She was an active leader in Chaves County 4H Club, American Rabbit Breeders Association, American Quarter Horse Association and American Poultry Association. Susan was a very caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.

Pallbearers will be Cody Johnson, Jeremy Palmer, Jerry Ridge Homer Parker, Jeff Harris and Terry Younggner.
