Shirley Ann Tays

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 am, Friday, December 30, 2011 at Central Church of the Nazarene for Shirley Ann Tays, 82, who passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at Sunset Villa Care Center. Rev. Randy Elftman will be officiating with burial following at South Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Ballard Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 67 PM.

Shirley was born August 30, 1929 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Joseph and Mildred Kanak Crawford. Her parents preceded her in death as did her husband W.C. Pete Tays.

She is survived by her daughters Shari Ware and husband David of Roswell, NM and Melanie Bambach and husband Dan of El Paso, Texas her grandchildren Brianna Ware, Kaitlyn Ware, Adrienne Bambach, Danielle Bambach, Scott Grieve and wife Carol and great grandchildren Logan and Mackenzie Grieve.

Shirley has lived in Roswell since 1948. She was member of Central Church of the Nazarene and was a past member of the Extension Club. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts and loved music.

Pallbearers will be David Ware, Dan Bambach, Scott Grieve, Dennis Ware and Doug Southern.
