Sherron F. Holmes

Sherron F. Holmes, age 83, was born in Knox City, Texas to Howard and Virginia Gilchrist who have preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her two daughters Andrea Sherfick and Gregi Reed.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter Shalisa Heath and husband Michael and Shea Winchester and husband Michael; 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Sherron was a member of Roswell First Baptist Church. She was full of life and jokes. Sherron had many lifelong friends; she was known in school for the “biggest flirt”. Sherron was one of the biggest die-hard Cowboys fans. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am, Monday, August 19, 2024 at Resthaven Cemetery in Lovington, NM where she will be put to rest with her loved ones.
