Sesarita Mary Baby Salas
A rosary is scheduled for 7 pm, Friday, November 18, 2011 at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church for Sesarita Mary Baby Salas 71, who passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Roswell. A funeral mass is scheduled for 9 am, Saturday, November 19, 2011 also at St. Johns the Baptist Catholic Church. Father Juan Antonio Gutierrez will be officiating the mass and Deacon Ernie Martinez will officiate the rosary. Mrs. Salas will be laid to rest at South Park Cemetery following the mass.

Sesarita was born April 30, 1940 in Arabella, NM to Margarito Sedillo and Senaida Vargas Romero Sedillo. Her parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by five brothers Matias, Margarito, Esupula, Johnny Ruven Sedillo daughter Ginny three sons Tony, Jerry and Bobby Barela grandson Bobby Ray Contreras great grandson Eric Robert Contreras and brotherinlaw Roy Flores. Sesarita married David M. Salas on February 15, 1964 in Roswell. He survives her at the family home. Baby and David were married for the past fortyseven years.

She is also survived by her son David Gregory Salas and companion Kathleen daughters Ginnie R. Salas and Kelly Hayes brothers Abel Romero Sedillo and Raymond Orlando Sedillo and wife Sherry sisters Arsenia R.C. Sanchez and husband Chris, Orlydia Lydia Flores and Prestinia Alvarado grandchildren David and Jason Barela, Sonia Acosta and family, Robert Bobby, Danny, Ryan and Ritchie Barela, Manuel Ray Vigil, Yvette, Fred, Cassandra, Robert and Cynthia Luna, Mere and Audrey, Eric, Chastynee, Reina Contreras, Isaac Molinar, Marina Sedillo, David Salas Silvia, Rina, Roger Orona and Santanna Salas great grandchildren Arianna, Rico, Xavier, Gavan, Melissa, Tawny, Brody, Roman, Joseph, Nicholas, Cameron, Angelo, Elijah, Kimry, Eric, Mariah, Diamond, Daniel Robert, Erica, Star, Bobbie Monique, David, Jacob, Baby Ike, Simona, Michael Bubba Dominic, Daniel, Anthony, AnnaAlicia, Elijah, Sariah, Eli, David Matthew, Gary Roybal and Eliesha and Alex Clements.

Baby was a lifelong resident of Roswell. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and a friend of many. Baby will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Pallbearers will be Eloy Ortega, Fred Ortega, Ralph Flores, Mere Contreras, Fred Luna and Jason Barela. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers, grandchildren, the Ortega brothers, Greg Salas, Isaac Molinar, Roderick Sedillo, Josie Serna and Eric Contreras.
