Graveside service are scheduled for 11:00 am, Monday, June 20, 2011 at South Park Cemetery for Sadie Simpson 92, who passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Casa Maria Healthcare Center. Bob Cates will be officiating.

Sadie was born October 18, 1918 in Holland Bell, Oklahoma to Henry and Flossie Welch Lester. Her parents preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by two sons Warren and Roy.

Sadie is survived by her son Carroll and wife Barlene of Benicia, California, two granddaughters and two great granddaughters.

Sadie is a longtime resident of Dexter and Roswell, NM. She was a doll collector and had many beautiful different collections. She enjoyed fixing up dolls for the Lions Club and Fire Department to distribute to the less fortunate children.
