Ruth Payne

There are no services scheduled for Ruth Payne, 89, who passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Mission Arch Care Center in Roswell, NM.

Ruth was born December 2, 1923 in Harriett, TX to Robert Alexander McCleery and Victoria Wagner. Her parents preceded her in death. She married Leslie Payne, who preceded her in death January 4, 2011. Ruth was also preceded in death by her son Jerry Payne and her three brothers Bill, Ernest and Fred McCleery.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons Mike Payne and his wife Charlann of Roswell, NM, Alan Payne and his wife Sharon of Ruidoso, NM, daughter Carolyn Turney and her husband Larry of Georgetown, TX, brothers Glenn McCleery of Corpus Christi, TX, Wesley Mc Cleery and his wife Peggy of Lubbock, TX, and grandchildren Kelly Turney, Kimberly Turney, Jason Payne, Jarrett Payne, Robin Hedrick, Corlee Payne, Adam Delanda and 11 great grandchildren.

Ruth was a member of Christ Church in the Downs. She loved to travel and crochet for all of her children and grandchildren.
