Graveside services will be held at South Park Cemetery, Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00 am for Ruth F. Carter 95, the youngest and last survivor of eleven children born to John Phillip and Lily Virginia Beall of Annapolis, Maryland. Ruth is survived by a several nieces and nephews scattered over the nation and dear friends of Roswell, Dick and Pat Goodwin and Dorothy Simmons.
Ruth and husband, Burt Carter, moved to Roswell in the 1950s. Burt preceded Ruth in death in 1970.
Ruth worked various clerking jobs after she was left on hr own. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church, which she dearly loved and often spoke fondly of her early years there with Dr. Dillon.
She made her home at Landsun Homes, Inc. in 2000 and truly missed her friends and acquaintances in Roswell.
Those who cared for Ruth at Landsun for the last ten and half years, most grateful appreciation is extended. You are the best
