Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at South Park Cemetery for Roy A. Kragrud, Jr., 85, who passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Casa Maria Healthcare Center. Pastor Tim Arlet of Kindred Hospice will officiate.

Roy was born June 6, 1931 in Casper, WY to Roy A. Kragrud Sr. and Essie Dell Wilson Kragrud who both preceded him in death. He leaves behind his sister Phyllis Stiles and numerous nieces and nephews.

Roy was a man of simple passions and loyalty who demonstrated both when he enlisted into military service for his country. He became an engineer through the U.S. Army and was proud of his service. He leaned on his humility choosing not to boast of his accomplishments but rather used his education to better both himself and his community. The legacy that he leaves for his family is a life well lived with love and laughter given to all as an indelible mark which is embodied as a smile when they remember him in the years to come.
