Rosendo (Ross) Gonzales Jr.
Heaven gained another angle known by his family and friends as Ross passed away on January 6, 2021. He was a loving and caring man; he was always there to help anyone in need. Ross had a kind heart and big smile. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved coaching his grandchildren in baseball. His favorite football team was the Chiefs and his favorite thing to do was to go camping and being outdoors.
Those left to cherish his memory forever are his wife Jeanette Gonzales; daughters Yvette and Rudy Castillo; grandchildren Raquel and Hugo Gonzalez; great grandchildren Aryanna Gonzalez and Hugo Jose Gonzalez, Rudy Castillo III, Adam Ross Castillo and Julian Castillo; daughter Jennifer and Joseph Branch; grandchildren Casey and Isaac Alfaro, Mackenzie and Christopher Lopez, Gracelynn Branch and Joseph Branch II; daughter Sarah and William Siegel; grandchildren Devin Nunez, Seth Nunez and Gwyneth Siegal; father Rosendo Gonzales Sr. (Linda); mother Minnie Romero; brothers Secondino Gonzales (Christina), Evaristo Gonzales (Dorthy), Celestino Gonzales, Orlando Gonzales, Larry Gonzales (Mona), Irene Turner (Michale), Rebecca Rodriguez (James), Adolph Romero, Laura Hernandez, Belinda Dinsmore (Steve) and Brad Van Lue (Viki). Also surviving are numerous nephews and nieces.
Preceding Rosendo in death are both his grandparents Alejarndro and Amalia Romero; grandfather Pedro D. Gonzales and granddaughter Sarah Estella Smitherman.
A rosary will be held at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at St. Peters Catholic Church with mass to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. No reception due to the COVID.
God looked around his garden and found an empty space.
Then He looked down upon this earth and saw your tired face.
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest.
Gods garden must be beautiful He only takes the best.
