Rose Jimenez

A rosary is scheduled for 7 pm, Sunday, July 12, 2015 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel for Rose Marie Fuentes Jimenez, 51, who passed away Monday, July 6, 2015 at Lovelace Regional Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside service is scheduled for 10 am, Monday, July 13, 2015 at South Park Cemetery.

Rose Marie was born September 10, 1963 in Roswell, NM to Julio Fuentes and Dolores Jimenez. Preceded in death by her mother Dolores Jimenez; grandparents Sofia and Juan Fuentes, Albert and Dolores Jimenez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, special cousins Champ Gonzales and Jerry Fuentes. Survivors include her children Rebecca Gabaldon, Melissa Melendez and Lawrence Melendez; grandchildren Desiray Duran, Breanna Conde, Alyssa Samario, Aubrey Gonzales, Larissa Melendez, Nehemiah Melendez and Rose Marie Melendez II; great grandchild Trevin Warner; brothers are Marcello "Chills" Jimenez, Vicient "German" Vasquez and Pabulino (Paul) Vasquez; sisters Nadine Munoz, two special sisters Roberta Torres and Debbie Tavarez; two special cousins Dorothy and Julian Fuentes; nieces and nephews Marcello Jimenez, Veronica Vasquez, Serena Madril, Santana Sanchez, Adam Horton, Dolares , Richard, Alexias and Nate Torres, Angela Odom and Lauretta Archuleta. Also surviving her is her chihuahua dog "Hulk".

Rose loved her grandchildren more than life itself. She enjoyed listening to her Spanish and oldies. Rose also enjoyed eating fruit and watching movies. She touched many hearts.

The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support. A special thanks to Valerie Lopez, Anthony Portio and Natasha Luna for helping us care for our beautiful mother. Also a special thanks to Dorothy Fuentes and her three children.
