Rosa Matta Chavarria

The family of Rosa Matta Chavarria is announcing the passing of their mother, grandmother, and sister. Rosa was born on July 7, 1950 and passed on October 2, 2021.

Rosa retired from the City of Roswell, NM. She was preceded in death by her son Jay Trujillo and her father and mother Daniel and Olivia Matta. She leaves behind her son Teddy Trujillo; grandchildren Joseph, TJ, Jay, Aaliya and Mariah Trujillo (Jay’s children) Michael, Brittany, Lenai, and Tre Trujillo; great grandchildren Nathaneil, Joseph, Infinity and Aliza.

Rosa’s life was her family she truly loved her son Teddy and a very special love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private ceremony will be held at Ballard Funeral Home for the immediate family members only.
