Roger Dale Cook passed away on March 7, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico from complications of injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Roger was born January 28, 1954 in Clovis, New Mexico. He was born and raised in Clovis, New Mexico and graduated from Clovis High School in 1972. Roger moved to Roswell in 1978 to work with his Dad at his Mobile Home Sales Business. Through the years, Roger worked as a bouncer at Buds Lounge before he opened and ran his own mobile home repair business.
Roger is survived by his parents, Glenn D. and Wanda Merline Cook of Roswell, New Mexico, his son Michael Cook of Grand Junction, Colorado, his daughter Amanda Cook of Roswell, New Mexico, his sister Dalene Lucero and her husband Frank of Roswell, New Mexico. His grandchildren, Shawn Cook, Andrea Cook, Jacob Cook of Grand Junction, Colorado and Aislyn Cook of Roswell, New Mexico, his nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, cousins and numerous life long friends, including his special friends Alan and Dawn Harwell, of Roswell, New Mexico.
Roger was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his maternal grandparents. Roger is loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
Roger was cremated pursuant to his wishes. A memorial service for Roger will be held on Friday, March 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m., at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Richard Smith of Highland Baptist Church officiating.
