Robert Flores

Robert left his loving family and friends on Saturday, August 10, 2019. He was born on July 1, 1961 to Rosie Cardona Flores and Isaac S. Flores, both of whom preceded him in death. His living step­mother, is Margaret Flores.

Robert is survived by four sisters, Cecilia Contreras (brother-in-law Pablo Contreras), Gloria Harris, Nancy Cardona (CA), and Kathy Orona. Three living brothers, Jerry Flores (ABQ), Adam Flores; sister-in-law Melissa (ABQ), Manuel Flores and deceased brothers, Raymond Flores, Gilbert Flores and Thomas Flores.

Robert was a retired Lieutenant with the Roswell Fire Department and served his country in the Army. He loved watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, win or lose each year. His favorite foods were tamales, tacos and enchiladas. He will miss his best friend, Blake Walker (of 35 years) and his Fire Department family and many other friends. He was an inspiration to his numerous nephews and nieces. He loved his four little canines. He had a loving Godly heart and always helped those in need.

Funeral services will be held at 10 am, Friday, August 16, 2019 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 7 pm. Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Ballard Funeral Home.
