A committal of ashes will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday December 5, 2008 at South Park Cemetery for Robert L. Capps, 80, of Roswell who passed away December 1, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM.

Robert was born on December 5, 1927 in Hale Center, Texas to Loyd Capps and Sara Jane Williams Capps. His parents have preceded him in death.

Robert married Erma Ernestine West. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2008.

Robert is survived by his sons: Roy Capps and Ron Capps both of Roswell; his sister: Fannie Danby and husband Leon of Roswell; his five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Robert lived in Ruidoso and worked a maintenance supervisor for the Ruidoso Regional Hospital. He then moved to Roswell in 1990. He was of the Baptist Faith.
