A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, at the New Mexico Military Institute Chapel for Robbie Lee Hause. Sean Lee will officiate. Rob passed away on October 22, 2014 at the age of 47. Immediately following the service, family and friends are invited to a gathering at 2809 Riverside Drive.
Rob was born August 27, 1967 in Seattle, Washington to Lee Hause and Rebekah Hause who survive him.
Rob grew up in Beaverton, Oregon and graduated from Beaverton, High School. He also took university courses.
Rob had a successful career as a food and beverage director in several national chains such as Chilis, Olive Garden and Red Robin in Arizona, Washington, Oregon and New Mexico. He was an opening manager for Cucina Cucina restaurant in Arizona and Oregon and he served as food and beverage director at Alto Country Club in Ruidoso, at Los Altos Golf Club in Albuquerque and at the Roswell Country Club.
Before entering the restaurant industry, Rob was golf professional in Oregon. He taught private lessons and he had a great gift and passion for the game. He made quite an impression on the Nooners at Spring River Golf Course and played with them as often as he could. He found a group of brothers who accepted and loved him for who he was.
Rob was a wonderful husband, father, brother, son, soninlaw and friend. He loved his wife and his children more than anything on this earth. He was always there to support his kids with their ball games, band activities and fund raising events. He was a caring and compassionate man and he had a great, if somewhat twisted, sense of humor.
Rob is survived by his wife, Kristin Higginbotham, his children, Kasey Smith, Scott, Corey, Carly and Ryan Hause, his parents Lee Hause and Rebekah Uland Hause, sisters Kwanlee Morrow and Dorothy McCurdy, and motherin law, Judy Smith and her husband, Larry Fields and fatherinlaw Ron Higginbotham and his wife, Marla.
Please take a moment to share your thoughts and memories with the family on Kristins page on Facebook.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Higginbotham Childrens Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.
