Richard G. Sedillo

A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Ballard Chapel for Richard G. Sedillo, 69 of Roswell who passed away on February 19, 2009. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., February 26, 2009 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Fr. Juan Montoya, O.F.M. will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Richard was born on August 21, 1939 in Lincoln, NM to Carlos Sedillo and Felicita Marquez Sedillo. Both parents preceded him in death.

Richard married Patricia Galvan on July 12, 1969. She survives him at the family home.

Richard loved to fish. He also loved his old cars and watching Wheel of Fortune. Richard adored his grandchildren.

Richard is survived by his wife, Patricia Galvan Sedillo of Roswell, NM; sons, Paul Brian Sedillo of Roswell, NM, Patrick Ray Sedillo and girlfriend Christy Quintero of Roswell, NM, Matthew James Sedillo and girlfriend Dennisha Fuentes of Roswell, NM; his brothers, Max Sedillo of Tuscon, AZ and Rudy Sedillo of Roswell, NM; sisters, Libby Fierro of Tularosa, Kathrine Carter of Tucson, AZ, Sally McCarter of Tucumcari, NM, Elli Franco of Roswell, NM and Chris Duran of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Alexis Marie Sedillo, Patrick Ray Sedillo, Jr., Matthew James Sedillo, Jr., and Richard Anthony Sedillo.

Pallbearers will be Faustino Torrez, Roy Leonard Morales, Robert Fuentes, A.J. Perales, Adam Perales, and Gabriel Morro.
