Ricardo “Richard” A. Quintero, Sr.
Our beloved Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Great-Great Grandfather, passed away peacefully, Saturday, November 27, 2021 in Roswell, NM. Was born February 7, 1925 to Felipe Rios Quintero and Amalia Alvarez Quintero in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
Richard liked working with his hands, doing carpentry, welding, and auto mechanic. He also liked playing music and guitar with his brother playing violin. Worked at Roswell Auto Wrecking, Glover Packing, Sunbeam Bakery, and Save & Gain/Furrs.
Those left to cherish his memory: sons and daughters, Robert Quintero and wife Ange, Richard Jr. Quintero and wife Vangie, George Quintero, Oscar Quintero and partner Geneva, Abraham Jose Quintero, John Quintero and sweetheart Frances, Debra Nateman and husband Barry, Vickie Quintero Drew, Jerry Quintero, Richard Luna and wife Marie, Ricky Quintero and wife Elizabeth, David Quintero and wife Sandra, Maribelle Quintana and husband Joe. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death: His parents, brother, David Quintero and wife Tecla, and sisters, Maria Quintero Andazola and husband Ismael, Cristina Quintero Lucero and husband Lionel, son Benito, and daughter Victoria, granddaughter Angela Lisa Jo Quintero Hinojosa, grandson Jayson Quintero, great grandson Noah Malachi Quintero, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 17, 2021, at the St. Johns Catholic Ave Maria Center at corner Bland Street and Lincoln. Burial to follow at Hagerman, NM cemetery. Morgan Rd. west. Reception at 2:00 pm at American Legion Hall, 1620 N. Montana.
