Reynaldo M. Garza

A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday April 18, 2007 at St. Catherines Catholic Church for Reynaldo M. Garza, 78, of Hagerman who passed away April 17, 2007 at a local care center. A mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at St. Catherines Catholic Church of Hagerman. Fr. Richard Lifrak, O.F.M. will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Hagerman Cemetery in Hagerman.

Reynaldo was born February 27, 1929 in Runge, Texas to Edelmiro Garza and Petra Muniz. His parents have preceded him in death as well as four brothers: Adan Garza, Narcisco Garza, Arturo Garza and Arnulfo Garza, and one sister: Aurora Garza

Reynaldo married Loreto Lara in Dexter, New Mexico. She survives him at the family home.

He is also survived by five sons: Reynaldo Garza Jr., Edwardo Ramirez , Ben Guevara, Jim Guevara, and John Guevara; three daughters: Gloria Noles, Lucy Arenivas and Betty Guevara; six brothers: Rojelio Garza, Leopoldo Garza, Edelmiro Garza Jr., Emilio Garza, Gilberto Garza, and Amador Garza; nine sisters: Eva Morales, Eudelia Sanchez, Adeidia Cruz, Delia Cantu, Diana Garza, Lilie Garza, Elsa Garza, Silvia De Los Santos and Esmeralda Garza; as well as sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Reynaldo had been a Hagerman resident for over fifty years. He owned and operated his own trucking firm. He will greatly be missed by family and many friends.
