Ray Pino Peralta
Ray went home on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the age of 85. Ray was born on November 25, 1938, in Carrizozo, NM to Doroteo and Tomasita Peralta. His parents proceeded him in death. He was also proceeded in death by his wife of 60 years Maria; brothers Emiterio, Jose, Patricio and Benny; sisters Trina, and Flora; son David Sanchez and grandson Joey Dunnahoo.
Ray is survived by his daughters Lucinda Dunnahoo(Rufe) Vicki Peralta; sons Paul Peralta (Jane), Richard Peralta (Peggye), and Chris Peralta; sister Judy Erives; grandchildren RJ Dunnahoo (Jenna), Kayla Dunnahoo, Sadie Peralta, Stephanie Hildago (Albert), Mathew Garcia (Marie), Veronica Salcido, Jeanette Salcido (Anthony), Krystle Van den Bout (Bo), Amy Peralta (Bobby), Kayce Peralta (Eddie), Kimberly Chavez, Nikki Peralta, Jamie Peralta, Alysa Peralta and grand dog Minnie Peralta. Great grandchildren, Klasey Dunnahoo, Kenley Dunnahoo, Kaisley Dunnahoo, Alanna Hildago, Ariya Hildago, Caleb Hildago, Nayelle Garcia, Natalie Ray Garcia, Meah Garcia, Esmae Garcia, Estrella Serrano, AnaMarie Serrano, Jena Madrid, Geovoni Flores, Amari Madrid, Adeline Madrid, Adrianne Madrid, Ezra Van den Bout, Demri Van den Bout, Camden Van den Bout, Ava Pemberton, Bryson Pemberton, Zayden Romero and Nathaniel Romero.
Ray lived in Hagerman for 58 years. He worked for the town of Hagerman for 27 years until his retirement. Ray loved fishing, welding, hunting and being outdoors.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Paul Peralta, Richard Peralta, Chris Peralta, Mathew Garcia, RJ Dunnahoo and Jamie Peralta. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 3:00-6:00 pm, Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Ballard Funeral Home in Roswell. A Rosary Vigil will be held at 9:30 am, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church of Hagerman with Funeral Mass following at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Lake Arthur Cemetery.
