Ralph Thomas

A graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 3:30 pm at South Park Cemetery for Ralph Thomas, 89, who passed away at his home on Thursday, July 10, 2014. Father Charlie Martinez of St. Peters Catholic Church will be officiating. Roswell Veterans honor guard will conduct military graveside services.

Ralph was born on July 15, 1924 in Bedford, Indiana to Mack and Fanny Thomas. They preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Catherine C. Smith Thomas in 2003.

Ralph was a graduate of the University of Indiana with a degree in Engineering. He was a decorated veteran of the US Army where he served in WWII. Among his decorations he earned EAME Theater Ribbon w3 Bronze Stars Good Conduct Medal Purple Heart w1 Oak Leaf Cluster and a Victory Medal. Ralph was a very good artist and enjoyed painting as well as golfing. He was a very giving and generous man.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Thomass name to St. Peters Catholic Church, 805 S. Main St., Roswell, NM 88203
