Rachel Margaret Martinez, 91

Rachel Martinez was born on April 2, 1933, to Francisco Perez Salazar and Rosie Duran in Roswell, New Mexico, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, in her home in Roswell. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Rachel was a woman that raised many children and adopted one. She LOVED her family; she was a discreet woman that kept her feet in her own home and passed her values on to her family. She LOVED shopping for all of her of her family, Rachel attended Calvary Baptist Church, she LOVED church and was a Jesus Christ follower and LOVED the Lord.

Rachel is Preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Duran; Father, Francisco Perez Salazar; Sons: Johnny Martinez and Larry Selk; Daughter, Beverly Selk.

 Rachel is survived by her sons: Tommy Martinez, Mario Gamboa and Daniel Martinez; Daughters: Cecilia Martinez, Margaret Jauregui, Tina Bently, Betty Sanchez, Lisa Selk and Rani Rubio. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, too many to count. They were all LOVED by Mamo 

 Pallbearers: Mario Gamboa, Javier Garcia, Gabriel J. Garcia, Phillip Salazar JR, Mario Sanchez JR, Daniel Martinez, Jerry Pena and Angel Serrano.A visitation will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Ballard Chapel, then followed by a Burial at South Park Cemetery. Rachel will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.
