Peter Rogers

Mass of the Resurrection is scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church for Peter Albert Rogers, 57, who passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Roswell. Father Josh Duplissey presiding with inurnment to follow in the columbarium at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.

Peter was born June 29, 1956 in Puebla, Mexico to Albert Rogers and Concepcion de la Vega Rogers. His father preceded him in death. Peter is also preceded in death by his brotherinlaw Michael Calvert.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Concepcion de la Vega Rogers of Roswell brother Carlos Rogers of Roswell sisters Narda RogersCalvert, Patricia C. Rogers of Roswell and Jacqueline Rogers of Nashville, TN. Also surviving him is his beloved dog Pancho.

Peter was a very kind hearted person and was very athletic until an accident in his last year of high school caused him not to graduate until later when he received his GED. He then continued his education at ENMUR where he graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Technology. Peter also had received his certificate in first aid and responding to emergencies from the American Red Cross. Peter worked at TMC as a welder.

Peter will be dearly missed by his family because of his loving care and companionship that he provided.
