Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm, Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Ballard Chapel for Peggy Jean Jones 58, who passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 at her home. Pastor Jerry Beaver of Tabernacle Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Peggy was born March 22, 1953 in Wichita, Kansas to Leslie and Dorothy Jones who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Ronnie Lee and Michael Dwayne.

She is survived by her son Chad Sanders and Susan of Florida her long time partner Rick Kempel of Roswell two brothers Don and wife Allen Jones of Roswell, and Bob and wife Sherry of Arizona.

Peggy graduated in 1971 from Goddard High School in Roswell, NM. She worked for Merrill Lynch as a Broker Assistant in Midland, Texas before returning to Roswell.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Weekly, Perry McCreary, Hollis Boardman, Chris Jones, C.W. Hamilton and A.J. Peralta. Honorary will be Caleb Kempel and the Los Perdonados MC.
