Patricio Barela

A Vigil with Rosary is scheduled for 9:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church for Patricio Barela, Sr. 90, who passed away on Monday, November 04, 2013 at Mission Arch. Mass of the Resurrection is at 10:00 A.M. with Father Josh Duplissey presiding. Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery.

Patricio was born November 19, 1922 in Balmorhea, Texas to Juan Barela and Juana Brijalba. His parents preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Rose C. Barela, whom were married for 69 years. His five sons, three daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Patricio was a member of St. Catherines Church in Hagerman and lived in Hagerman the majority of his life.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Barela, John Barela, Zai Barela, Michael Barela, Alfred Barela and George Barela. Honorary pallbearers will be David Barela, Lloyd Barela, Daniel Barela, Patricio Barela, Jr., and Adam Barela.
