Patricia Jeanette Jones

Patricia Jeanette Jones passed away Sunday, June 17, at her residence, The Beehive Assisted Living Home in Portales, at the age of 90. She had been a resident there since December 2001, having moved from Roswell to be near her daughter Carol. Prior to that time she had made her home in Roswell for 55 years.

She was born on August 8, 1916 to the home of Roy and Norah Purvis of Thermopolis, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one infant son, and her husband of forty years William J. Jones, and one granddaughter.

She is survived by her son William J.E. wife Sally Jones of Logan, Utah and three daughters, Ronna Jeanne Huckabee of Ft. Worth, Texas, Nancy husband Bob Watkins of Roseville, CA and Carol husband Jerry Milner of Portales, and nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren in addition to her Beehive family of friends and caregivers.

Graveside services will be in Roswell under the direction of Ballard Funeral Home on Wednesday on the 20th of June at 11:00 a.m. at South Park Cemetery.
