Pat Marie Hobbs Bullock

Pat Marie Hobbs Bullock, 83, passed away on July 1, 2010 at Villa Del Rey in Roswell, New Mexico. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Gerry Chavez and Lonnie Owen will officiate. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

Pat was born on May 13, 1927 in Gainesville, Texas to George and Dena Hobbs. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as, her husband, Dixon Bullock and two brothers: Doug and Robert.

Pat was a member of the Roswell community for 54 years. She was coowneroperator of Bullocks Jewelry. Pat was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church and also Service League of Chaves County.

Pat was a dedicated homemaker and supportive mother who managed to raise two strong willed teenage sons after her husband passed. She was blessed to find her true soul mate in Dixon. He filled her life all this time, even though he was only with her for 18 years. She loved her life as Granny as her grandchildren and everyone else called her. She will always be remembered for all of her love and support.

Pat is survived by her two sons: Don Bullock of Roswell, NM and wife Terry Bullock of Roswell, and Glen Bullock and partner Joey of Denver, CO also her two grandchildren: Heather and Kyle Bullock of Roswell, NM.
In lieu of flowers we request that donations be made to 1st United Methodist Church Cowbells 200 N. Pennsylvania Roswell, NM and The Roswell Humane Society 703 E. Mcgaffey Roswell, NM.
