Owen Mann

Owen Patrick Pat Mann, age 70, passed away after a brief illness on July 27, 2011, at
Roswell Regional Hospital.

He was born on October 24, 1940, in San Antonio, Texas, and was raised in Albuquerque, then finally came to reside in Roswell. He married his wife, Margaret, on January 14, 1978.

Pat retired from the New Mexico State Engineers office as the Pecos River Watermaster in 1990. Pat loved spending time with his family, traveling, square dancing, and martial arts with three black belts to prove it. He served in the Army and was very proud that his two sons, Chris and Eric, carry on his tradition of public service as Lieutenants for the Roswell Fire Department.

Pat is survived by his loving wife Margaret Mann, and his children Chris Mann, and wife Lori of Roswell, Eric Mann and wife Christie of Roswell, Susan Curry and husband Matt of Roswell, Patti Stacy and husband Darrell of Roswell, Leah Mann, Adina Mann, Larry Holm of Jacksonville, Florida, and Roxann Morris and husband Rossie of Albuquerque. Pat was also proud of his twenty grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 1, 2011, at Ballard Funeral Home. Danny Sons officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Roswell Humane Society, or the charity of your choice.
