Orlando Archuleta

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Ernesto Martinez of St. john's Catholic Church officiating. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Ballard Funeral Home from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Burial of cremains will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 24, 2018 at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

Orlando was born March 7, 1935 to Jose Miguel Archuleta and Sara Corona Archuleta in Arabela, NM. Both his parents preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his children Steve, Corrine, and Ernestine Archuleta; brothers Willie and Melvin Archuleta and sisters Felicita Cordona and Josephine Dominguez.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Ernest Archuleta; daughter Tanya T. Archuleta; brothers Tony Archuleta, Frank Archuleta and Serafin Archuleta; sisters Arabella Horton and Ceralia Soliz; grandchildren Anastacia M. Smith, Jason D. Miller, Joe Rodriguez, Tino Archuleta, Bobby Archuleta, Ray Baltazar, Frankie, Johnny, Stephanie Archuleta and Sandra Castillo. Also surviving him are numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Orlando was a very proud Marine serving our country during the Korean War. He had a passion for fishing, cruising and hiking. His biggest passion was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
