Odelia Rascon

Funeral services are scheduled for 7 pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Ballard Chapel for Odelia Rascon, 59, who passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at Casa Maria Healthcare Center surrounded by the love of her family. Odelia will be cremated according to her wishes. Visitation will be held from 10 to 7 pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Ballard Funeral Home.

Odelia was born October 23, 1954 in Hereford, TX to Benacio Garcia Guzman and Celia Lujan Dominquez her father preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her brother Hector Guzman.

Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband Steven R Rascon sons Japheth Rascon and wife Samantha, Israel Rascon and wife Maribel and Robert Rascon daughter Stephanie Montes and husband Christopher brothers Benacio Guzman II and Ediberto Guzman and her grandchildren Jacob, Joshua, Mikey, Cianne, Shawn, Gabriella, Jayanna, Lelia Mercy, Santiago, Abel, Matthew, Mark, Natalie and Elijah. Also, surviving her are numerous nieces and nephews.

Odelia was of the catholic faith and a member of Our Lady of Grace. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in private home care for years. Odelia was a great mother, beloved Nana and a favorite aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who loved and knew her.
