Nick Dean Brisco
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, uncle and grandpa (pop pop) Nick Dean Brisco on Wednesday March 23, 2022 after a short but tough battle with brain cancer. Nick passed away surrounded by his loved ones peacefully at his home including his beloved wife Cheri Brisco of 22 years. Nick was born on March 5, 1968 to Ed & Dorothy Brisco in Norwalk, CA but moved to Roswell, NM in the 70’s but eventually landed in Dexter, NM where he graduated from Dexter High School in 1987.
Nick is survived by numerous siblings including Eddie and wife Diane, David and wife Melanie, Kathy and husband John, Jim and wife Sherry, and twin brother Rick and wife Carol. He is also survived by his son Jaushua Brisco and his kids Samuel and Everly, Ashley Loveless, Samuel Loya and fiancé Viola Tarin and their kids Kevin, Marisol, Bohdi and Grayson, Eddie Loya and girlfriend Ambar and their kids Kadence, Melody and Harmony, plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom they loved him whole heartedly.
Nick is proceeded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents, his mom and dad, and brothers Steven and Gary Brisco.
Nick was a man of many talents from day one but for the past 10 years he enjoyed driving an 18 wheeler for the oil industry. Along the way during his time in the oil industry he met countless coworkers who quickly became family. Nick was a big outdoors man. He enjoyed the simple things in life. Nick and his wife Cheri enjoyed their time together and Nick will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, March 28, 2022 at Ballard Funeral Home.
