A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Monday, February 15, 2010 at St. Johns Catholic Church for our beloved, son, brother, dad and grandpa, Nasario Gilbert Madrid, 37, of Roswell who passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. A funeral mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at St. Johns Catholic Church. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
Nasario was born on August 5, 1972 in Roswell, NM to Mary Ruth Esquibell. He is survived by his mother and her husband Ernesto Barron Zuniga of Roswell his girlfriend: Mete Acosta of Roswell his sons: Gilbert Gonzales and his girlfriend Ashley Martinez of Roswell and Augustine Madrid of Lubbock, TX his brothers: Lupe Madrid of Roswell, Phillip Madrid and his girlfriend Roberta Chavez of Roswell, Raul Zuniga and his girlfriend Rosetta Padilla of Roswell his nieces: Briana and Ashley Madrid, Valerie, Ericka Quintana his nephews: Armando Quintana, Kevin and Santiago Martinez and his future first grandson: Jeremiah Augustine Gonzales.
Nasario was a life long resident of Roswell and worked for Roofing Company.
Pallbearers will be Lupe Madrid, Phillip Madrid, Raul Zuniga, Gilbert Gonzales Jr., Robert Joe Sanchez and Rico Acosta.
