Molly Lorraine Jenkins was granted her angel wings on December 5th, 2015 at the tender age of two years old, following an unexpected accident. Her final days and hours were spent with family and friends who had been forever touched and changed by Molly's love. Molly was like the sunshine, bringing warmth and brightness to any life blessed with her presence. While Molly's life would seem too fleeting to some, those who met and fell in love with her understand the quality of her existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which she lived.
Molly "moo" was eager to learn and study and had accomplished counting to twenty, being able to identify the letters of the alphabet and spelling her own name. She had the ability to command the attention of children and adults alike; befriending her church and community. She was born in Roswell, NM where she lived her whole life with a mother and father, brothers and even an uncle who loved her so very much.
She was survived by her older brothers, Tyler McQuary (15) and Rowdyn Wood (6), her parents, Tommy Jenkins and Nicole Scarpa, her paternal grandparents, Chris Pedler and Robert Jenkins, her maternal grandparents, Holly Hawley and Michael Hawley, great-grandfather, John F. DeNito, three uncles, Graeme Jenkins, Jesuz "Zues" Altamirano and Mj Hawley. Molly was also survived by her Great Aunt Jerry O'Dette, Great Grandmother Sherry Lorraine Witt and Great Great Grandmother Helen F. Witt.
Molly's presence will be greatly missed. Her funeral services will be held at 10:30am, Monday, December 14, 2015 at First United Methodist 200 North Pennsylvania Roswell, NM. with Pastors Laird and Tina Cross officiating. Burial will follow at 2 pm at Elida Cemetery. Anyone who would like to come pay their respects is welcome.
