Mildred Imogene (Jean) Brooks

Mildred Imogene (Jean) Brooks 94 passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, NM.

Born to Claud & Nora Tumbleson on August 26, 1927 in Alma, Arkansas. She married on October 9, 1946 and is proceeded in the death of her husband Ira I. Brooks; two grandsons, Drew Brooks and Jacob Brooks; two great-grandsons Peyton Brooks and Aiden Brooks.

She is survived by her children, Robert and wife Joy Brooks of Alabama, James and wife Joyce Brooks of Texas, Steve Brooks of the home, June Brooks of California, and Robyn Yates of the home, nine grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.

She was a member of Country Club Church of Christ since 1977. She had a passion for crafting, quilting, crocheting, baking, and gardening.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, December 10, 2021 at Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Austin of Church of Christ will be officiating. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery.
