Michael Carrasco, Jr.

Michael Edward Carrasco, Jr. of Dexter, New Mexico passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Roswell, New Mexico at the age of 43. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Ballard Funeral Home.
Michael was born on May 12,1974 to Michael Carrasco Sr. of Tucson, Arizona and Aida Lopez of Dexter, New Mexico.
Those left to cherish Michael's memory are his mother, Aida Lopez, his four children, Dontae Caldwell of Glendale, Arizona, Michael Xavier Carrasco, Nathaniel Carrasco, and Yvonne Carrasco of Roswell, two sisters; Michelle Carrasco and Angelica Buckmister of Roswell, two brothers; Joseph Sedillo of Roswell and Fabian Maciel of Dexter, Grandpa, Emilio Salgado of Dexter and Michael's girlfriend, Dora Chavez of Roswell and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Michael loved spending his time with his family and friends, but mainly with his kids. Michael loved making everyone laugh with his silly comments. He enjoyed playing his loud music and jamming out with his drums. We are all going to miss you, Michael.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandma, Paula Salgado, father, Michael Carrasco, Sr., grandson Trayvonn Dorshawn Mayhan and brother-in-law Angel Marin, Sr.
Michael's ashes will be laid to rest at the foot of his Grandma's grave at South Park Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Fabian Maciel and Dora Chavez.
