Merle A. Moehring

Merle, 88, of Pahrump, Nevada and living in Roswell for the last two years to be near family, passed away after a very lengthy illness. He was a Veteran of two wars the Korean Conflict and WWII and had served in the military for twenty plus years. Most of his military time was served in Germany, Korea, France, and Colorado before his retirement and move to Pahrump, Nevada. After his retirement from the Army, Merle owned several small businesses, kept the ice shiny and free of flaws for the renowned World Arena and worked numerous years in Nevada casinos. Merle loved skating, dancing, and fishing. His sense of humor was Out of this world and will be missed by many.
He is survived by twin sons Rex MoehringRoswell and Roi MoehringColorado Springs daughter Peggy MoehringRoswell, daughter and soninlaw Mary and Mark FisherRoswell, and daughter Irene MoehringOhio. His wife of thirty years, Irmgard Maria, preceded him in death. He has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Merle will be greatly missed by family and friends.
