A rosary is scheduled for 7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the Ballard Chapel for Megan Gonzalez, 18, of Roswell, who passed away September 17, 2007 at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center. A graveside services is scheduled for 2:00, Friday, September 21, 2007 at South Park Cemetery. Elder Emanual M. Norfor of New Life Apostolic Church will officiate.

Megan was born on January 17, 1989 in Roswell, New Mexico to Thomas Gonzalez and Josephine Calanche. Her parents survive her.

Megan is survived by her parents: Thomas Gonzalez of Albuquerque and Josephine Calanche of Roswell; her step-father: Michael Sanchez of Roswell; her uncles: Steve Dominguez of Roswell, Jimmy Gonzalez of Carlsbad, Paul Sanchez of Roswell, Mark Sanchez of Roswell, Gilbert Romero and Richard Ysasi; her aunts: Angie Sanchez, Patricia Washington, Yvonne Jaramillo, Rita Contreras and Rosetta Sosa all of Roswell; her brothers: Arthur Acevedo, Rudy Sanchez, Julian Sanchez, Junior Moreno, and Edward Contreras all of Roswell; her sisters: Yolanda Patino, Lisa Dominguez, DeeAnna Nunez, Mikayla, Elizabeth and Ashley Contreras all of Roswell; Her grandparents: Olga Rodriguz and Sammy Franco of Carlsbad, NM, Manuel and Emma Sanchez from Roswell; her great grandparents: Juan and Delia Merjil of Carlsbad, Steve and Anna Gonzalez of Carlsbad; as well as numerous great aunts and uncles and numerous cousins and great cousins.

Pallbearers will be Arthur Acevedo, Rudy Sanchez, Julian Sanchez, JR Moreno, Richard Sanchez, Ricky Romero, Gilbert Rodriguez and Steve Dominguez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Gonzalez, Rachel Aranda, Victor Lara, Sonya Lara, Chris Perez, Percilla Marques, Vivian Dominguez and Abraham Martinez.
