Meade Marie Peralta
The angels came and took Meade Peralta home to be with her Lord on June 17, 2009 at the age of 41. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Ballard Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bob Jordan will officiate with music by Jeanne Smith.
Meade was born in Roswell, New Mexico on July 7, 1967 to Dale Melton and Charlene Green. She lived in Roswell her entire life and was a Caregiver for Community Homecare. Meade had also worked as a Cashier at Farmers Country Market and Furrs Supermarket for many years.
Meade attended Goddard High School. She enjoyed beadwork and jewelry making. She also loved watching movies with her children. She had a great sense of humor and loved to tell humorous stories on her family. Meade was a member of the St. Frances Anglican Church. Meade especially loved her Chico Chihuahua and all animals.
Meade was preceded in death by her two dads, Dale Melton and Sherman Willis and her grandparents: Charles and Cora Mae Green and Thomas and Frankie Melton.
Meade is survived by her mother, Charlene Willis of Roswell; her son, Jacob Peralta of Roswell; her daughter, Jaclyn Peralta of Roswell; one granddaughter: Makayla Baray; one sister, Sydney Hubbard and husband, Gene of Roswell; her niece, Paige Dodson and her husband, Lee and children: Paden and Logan and Tatum; her niece: Jennifer Graves and husband Eric and son Garrett; her nephew, Brady Hubbard of Roswell.
Meades family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Rader for his tireless dedication, Fr. Bob Jordan for his ever present counsel and strong shoulders to lean on, the Roswell Regional Hospital Staff for their excellent care and compassion, and Mission Arch Nursing Center for their excellent care, patience, and friendship during her residency.
