Mary “Blondie” Sharp
August 6, 1948 ~ March 5, 2021
Mary ”Blondie” Sharp was born August 6,1948 to Howard Buckner & Grace Long. She married Hubert Sharp and had three daughters Judy Sharp, Jannie Peralta and Janet Sharp.
Mary worked a short time for Quality Liquors and Comfort Keepers Healthcare, but she spent most of her days working at the Variety Liquor and Lounge as a “feisty little bartender” where she had a ton of regulars and friends! Mary was a very strong woman with a very generous heart. To know her was to love her. And if she wasn’t working you could guarantee you could find her in Dexter, NM out at Lake Van camping and teaching the grandkids how to fish! She loved being outdoors so much!
She is survived by her longtime companion David Smith who has stuck by her side for thirty years. Her three daughters Judy, Jannie, and Janet. Her twin sister Barbara aka Blackie, sisters Charlene, Lequita, Doris, Roberta and Leola; brothers Leon, Butch, Ray, Robert and Lee. She is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Grace and her very special friend Wes Wishard whom she loved very much.
We love you momma! Enjoy your forever camping trip till we meet again by the campfire!
