Mary Alice Yeckl

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at South Park Cemetery for Mary Alice Yeckl, 81, of Roswell who passed away November 18, 2007 at a local care center. Pastor Phil Grassie will officiate.

Mary was born on November 17, 1926 in Kansas City, Missouri to Richard E. Alexander and Anna Mae Gambill Alexander. Her parents have preceded her in death.

Mary married George N. Yeckl in February of 1980 in Laguna Beach, CA. Her husband survives her at the family home.

She is also survived by a son David Yeckl and wife Terri of Garden Grove, CA; her daughters: Elizabeth Yeckl Wing and husband Mack of Santa Anna, CA and Cathy Yeckl Miller of Mission Viejo, CA; her sister: Marian A. Perkins and husband Charles of Roswell; a nephew James Lee Lloyd of Garden Grove, CA; as well as ten grand children and five great grandchild.

Mary worked at ATT for 35 years as a Supervisor retiring in San Francisco, CA in 1982. She moved to Roswell in 2003 and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Newcomers Club, Rock Hound Chaparral Rock Club. She also attended the First Christian Church in Roswell.
